Terms of Use and Accommodation Conditions

1. Scope of Application, Contract, and Payment

■ Article 1 (Scope of Application)

These terms and conditions apply to accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded between this facility and guests.

■ Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)

Upon check-in, you will be required to fill out a guest list (including name, address, nationality, and passport number). We will verify your identity at check-in. Japanese nationals will be asked to present a photo ID. Foreign nationals will be required to present a passport. We will make a copy of the passport you present as identification and will keep it for a certain period of time in accordance with the law. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are unable to present this, we will refuse your stay.

■ Article 3 (Contract Formation)

An accommodation contract will be concluded when the facility accepts your application. If a reservation deposit is required, please pay it by the specified deadline.

■ Article 4 (Rejection of Contract)

We will not enter into a contract if:

(1) When fully booked.

(2) If the person is affiliated with an organized crime group, a company affiliated with an organized crime group, or other anti-social forces.

(3) If there is suspicion of an infectious disease such as the new coronavirus based on appearance or other factors.

(4) If it is determined that the guest is likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests.

■ Article 5 (Termination of contract by the facility)

If a guest violates these terms and conditions or the rules of use, the contract may be terminated and the guest may be refused accommodation. In such cases, the accommodation fee paid will not be refunded.

■ Article 6 (Payment of fees)

Please pay the accommodation fee at check-in or by the method specified by the facility.

Please note that cash is not accepted at this facility as the entire building has implemented a cashless payment system.

Accepted payment methods: various credit cards, transportation electronic money, iD, PayPay, LINEPay, auPAY, QUICPay, Alipay+, WeChat Pay, UnionPay.

■ Article 7 (Cancellation Policy)

If you cancel your reservation, the following cancellation fees will be charged. The cancellation fees will be automatically charged to the credit card you registered at the time of booking.

*This applies regardless of room type or plan.

【2. Check-in, Room Use, and Guest Registration】

Check-in:3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.(An additional fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for late check-in between 11:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.)

■ Check-out: by 10:00 a.m.

■ No check-in after 12:00 a.m.

■ Guest room hours: 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Late check-out on the day of departure is allowed until 12:00, with an extra fee of 1,000 yen per hour.

■ Luggage storage service is available only on the day of check-in and the day of check-out.

【3.Hotel Facilities and Services】

■Main Facilities:

・Free Wi-Fi, lounge, shower room (with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap).

・Private rooms: power outlet, reading light, hanger, curtain.

・Dormitory rooms: locker with key, reading lamp, privacy curtain, hanger, power outlet.

■ Amenities and Rental Items (with Prices):

 ・Rental: bath towel / hair dryer / hair iron / hanger

・Free: face towel / toothbrush / cotton swabs / brush / earplugs / slippers / razor

・200 yen: skincare set (facial cleanser, toner, lotion) / socks / laundry detergent

 

4.Guest Rules, Conduct Guidelines, and Prohibited Items/Behaviors

■Regarding Quiet Hours

Quiet Hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

■ Regarding Kitchen Use

・The kitchen is available for use from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

・All cooking utensils and dishes must be washed and returned to their proper place after use.

・All shared areas, including the kitchen and living room, must be cleaned by users after each use.

・The refrigerator is a shared facility. To ensure all guests can use it comfortably, please label your items with your name, date, or a distinguishing mark using the provided writing tools.
The management assumes no responsibility for lost items or any disputes regarding ownership.
Unlabeled items may be disposed of after one week from the date of inspection, so please take care to label your belongings.

■Regarding Use of the Shower Room and Washroom

・The shower room is available for use 24 hours a day.

・Guests are requested to use water facilities, including the shower room, washroom, and toilets, in a clean and respectful manner.

・The following are prohibited: prolonged use of facilities, unnecessary water consumption, and any actions that hinder other guests from using the facilities.

・Please do not pour hair, paper, foreign objects, food, or grease into drains, toilets, or sinks, as this may cause clogging or damage to the facilities.

・All provided items, such as shampoo, are for shared use. Removal or excessive use is strictly prohibited.

・The following activities are strictly prohibited in shower rooms and other water areas, as they may soil or damage the facilities: hair dyeing, bleaching, laundry, coloring, or excessive use of detergent.

・After using the facilities, ensure that water, hair, and other debris are cleaned up, and return the area to its original condition for the next guest.

・If facilities are damaged or soiled in violation of the above regulations, the responsible guest may be held liable for repair and cleaning costs.

■ Prohibited Conduct within the Facility

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited within the facility.
This facility operates in close cooperation with the Chiyoda Ward administration, police, fire department, and the local community.
Please understand that non-compliance with our instructions or requests may necessitate police intervention.
Should any prohibited behavior be detected, appropriate actions such as warnings, eviction, fines, or reporting to authorities may be taken.

・Drunkenness, Excessive Noise, Loud Behavior, Violence, and Any Acts Causing Disturbance.

・Prohibition of Bringing Hazardous Materials (Explosives, Poisonous Substances, etc.).

・Entry of Visitors Without Permission is Prohibited.

・The preparation of food that produces strong odors and the hosting of parties are prohibited.

・The use of open flames, such as burners, is strictly prohibited.

・Engaging in Illegal Activities or Possessing/Using Illegal Substances is Strictly Prohibited.

・Placing items other than bedding, such as clothing, on the beds (e.g., for drying) is prohibited.

・Smoking is prohibited inside the facility, except in designated outdoor smoking areas.

・Taking or Stealing Items Belonging to the Facility is Strictly Prohibited.

■Cooking is Prohibited

・The use of IH (induction heating) cooking appliances is prohibited within the Facility in accordance with guidance from the fire department.

・Guests are not permitted to bring personal cooking equipment into the Facility or to engage in any cooking activities on the premises.

・The only appliances available for guest use within the Facility are the microwave, toaster, and refrigerator.

・In the event of a violation of any of the preceding provisions, the Facility may, from the standpoint of safety management, issue a strict warning, order the immediate cessation of cooking activities, impose restrictions on the use of facility equipment, or require the guest to leave the premises.

・In the event that a fire, accident, equipment failure, or any other damage occurs as a result of such violations, the guest shall be fully liable for all resulting damages.

・In the event that dangerous conduct or malicious violations are observed, the Facility may report the matter to the police or fire department and may impose a penalty fee on the guest.

■ Non-Provision of Rental Items and Prohibition of Misuse of Facility Equipment

・The Facility does not provide any rental items whatsoever, including chargers, umbrellas, adapters, bedding, or any other equipment, regardless of name or type.

・Guests shall not request the loan of items not provided by the Facility, and any unauthorized use, removal, possession, or relocation of facility equipment (excluding shared facilities) is strictly prohibited.

・In the event of a violation of the preceding provision, the Facility may、

①Immediate return of the relevant item

②Claim for compensation for damages or actual costs incurred (including replacement costs, repair fees, cleaning fees, and business interruption costs)

​③may terminate the accommodation contract and order the guest to leave the premises immediately, without prior notice.

■Prohibition of Unprovided Services and Disclaimer

・The Facility does not provide any services outside of front-desk operations, including the shipping, receiving, or storage of luggage, the acceptance of mail or parcels on behalf of guests, taxi arrangements, or the reservation or handling of external services.

・Guests shall not demand any of these services from the Facility, and any requests, delegations, or similar acts are strictly prohibited.

・If a guest sends luggage, mail, or any similar items to the Facility without prior permission, the Facility may

①refuse acceptance

②immediately ship the item back to the sender on a cash-on-delivery basis

③dispose of the item at the Facility’s discretion

may, at the Facility’s discretion, take any of these actions, and the Facility shall bear no responsibility for any damages arising therefrom.

The Facility will not respond to any requests for taxi arrangements or other external services.

・The Facility assumes no responsibility for any delays, booking errors, or other issues arising between guests and external service providers.

■Non-Acceptance of Complaints and Final Authority

・The Facility will not accept any complaints, objections, demands, refund requests, compensation claims, or any other claims from guests regarding measures, decisions, or policies implemented by the Facility based on the preceding two provisions (non-provision of rental items and prohibition of unprovided services).

・The Facility has no obligation to provide explanations or responses concerning these matters, and even if a complaint is submitted, the Facility’s decisions or actions will not be altered.

・Guests are deemed to have agreed to the Facility’s policies in advance and may not hold the Facility liable for any disadvantages arising therefrom.

■ Prohibited Conduct in the Vicinity of the Hostel

n accordance with instructions from the Chiyoda Ward administration, police, fire department, and the local community, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited in the vicinity of the hostel.
Should any prohibited behavior be observed, appropriate measures such as warnings, eviction, fines, or reporting to authorities may be taken.

・Speaking Loudly / Loud Conversations

・Acts of Violence

・Writing or drawing on walls and property is strictly prohibited.

・Use of dangerous items such as explosives or poisonous chemicals is not allowed.

・Gathering or Loitering in the Facility or Surrounding Areas is Prohibited

・Remaining in the Facility Without Permission is Prohibited

・Smoking is prohibited

・Eating and drinking is prohibited

・Leaving or Dumping Trash is Prohibited

・Engaging in Illegal Activities or Using Drugs is Strictly Prohibited

■ About Smoking

・The entire facility is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas.

・To respect the surrounding community, guests are requested to vacate the smoking area immediately after use.

・The designated outdoor smoking areas may be used between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

・The outdoor smoking area is for hostel guests and staff only. Non-guests, including those accompanying guests, are strictly prohibited from using it.
If violated, a fee of 10,000 yen per person will be charged on-site.

・After using the designated outdoor smoking area, please dispose of cigarette butts in the provided ashtrays.

・After smoking, please use the provided deodorizing spray and be considerate of neighbors and other guests.

・If smoking, including e-cigarettes or vapes, is detected in guest rooms, or confirmed through reports from other guests, a cleaning and deodorizing fee of 10,000 yen will be charged.

・A cleaning and deodorizing fee of 10,000 yen per person will also apply for smoking in non-designated areas.

■ Guest Capacity, Age Limits, and Guest Eligibility

・If the actual number of guests exceeds the number reserved, a fee of 10,000 yen per additional guest will be charged on-site.

・For safety reasons, we do not accept guests under 18 years old, even when staying with family.

・Please note that the facility is not wheelchair accessible or barrier-free. We are unable to accommodate guests who require care or assistance.

■ Responsibility for Keys, Valuables, and Personal Items

・Guests are advised to use their keys carefully.

・Please keep your key with you at all times and lock your room or dormitory door whenever you go out.

・Guests will be charged 3,000 yen for the replacement of a lost key.

・Free locked lockers are provided on each floor. Guests are responsible for managing their own valuables.

・In the event of loss or theft, the hostel cannot be held liable.

・We will make every effort to contact the owner regarding any personal belongings left after checkout. If the owner cannot be reached or remains unidentified, the items will be held for one week from the date they are found, after which they will be disposed of.

・An additional fee will be applied for the disposal of trunks or items exceeding a certain size.

■ Cleaning and Waste Sorting

・Cleaning of rooms and the facility is generally done daily, but for consecutive stays in private rooms, it is performed once every three days.

・Please separate your garbage (burnable waste, cans, bottles, PET bottles) in the facility.

・Disposal of large items such as cardboard boxes or trunks is not allowed. Violations may result in claims for damages.

■ Response to Equipment Malfunctions or Issues

・In the event that any facility equipment malfunctions or issues arise, or if any supplied amenities are found to be defective, we may ask you, after providing an explanation and obtaining your understanding, to change your room or bed, or to exchange the relevant amenities. In such cases, refunds cannot be provided unless there is a special reason.

・Our staff will make every effort to ensure all guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. We sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation.

■Use of Complimentary Amenities and Disclaimer

・The complimentary drinking water provided at our facility at our discretion (including water dispensers, water fountains, pitchers, and similar sources), complimentary tea bags, instant powdered beverages, candies, and other similar food items or consumables (collectively, the “Complimentary Items”) are offered solely for the convenience of guests. The Facility does not recommend or encourage their use. Guests shall use the Complimentary Items at their own discretion and responsibility.

・The Complimentary Items are provided solely for reasonable on-premises use within the Facility. Guests are prohibited from refilling their own bottles, cups, containers, or similar vessels in large quantities for the purpose of taking such items off the premises.

・In the event that excessive taking of items, overconsumption of supplies, use for commercial purposes, or any other conduct deemed inappropriate by the Facility is observed, the Facility reserves the right to suspend the guest’s use of the Complimentary Items, charge additional fees, or require the guest to leave the premises.

・The Facility shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any health issues, discomfort, allergic reactions, illnesses, damages, losses, or any other disadvantages incurred by guests as a result of drinking, consuming, or otherwise using the Complimentary Items.

・The Facility makes no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the quality, safety, ingredients, sanitary condition, storage condition, suitability, or any other aspect of the Complimentary Items, nor does it assume any obligation to do so.

・The Facility has no involvement in, and assumes no responsibility for, the cleanliness, sanitation, or management of any personal containers, cups, bottles, dishes, or other items used by guests when utilizing the Complimentary Items.

■ Fire Safety and Safety Management

・Intentional activation of fire alarms by guests is strictly forbidden. If discovered, a fine of 50,000 yen will be imposed.

■ Procedures in Case of Incidents or Emergencies

・If a dispute occurs between guests, the following measures will be taken.

・Guests are kindly requested to cooperate with one another to avoid conflicts.

・Should any trouble arise between guests or with third parties within the facility, please notify our staff immediately to prevent inconvenience to other guests.

・While the hostel will respond appropriately within its capacity, the cause and responsibility for any trouble should, in principle, be resolved between the parties involved.

・Should guests fail to follow staff instructions in the event of a dispute, the authorities may instruct us to contact the police.

・If the hostel suffers damage due to a guest’s actions, a claim for compensation will be made.

・Any damages or losses resulting from a dispute are the responsibility of the parties involved. The hostel and its staff are not responsible.

■Policy on Illness and Vomiting: Response Measures, Accommodation Restrictions, and Cost Responsibility (Strict Regulations)

・Guests are required to immediately notify hostel staff if they experience any health issues, including but not limited to feeling unwell, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or any other abnormal physical condition, regardless of the cause.

・For the purpose of maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring the safety of other guests, the hostel may require the guest to visit a designated medical institution specified by the hostel and to submit examination and/or diagnostic results.

If the guest fails to comply with these requirements, the hostel reserves the right to immediately refuse accommodation or continued stay.

・If the hostel determines that a guest has an infectious viral illness, symptoms for which the possibility of infection cannot be ruled out, or any condition that may cause concern, discomfort, or risk to other guests, the hostel may refuse accommodation or continued stay (including extensions), regardless of whether a medical diagnosis has been provided.

All such determinations shall be made solely at the discretion of the hostel, and the guest shall have no right to object to or dispute these decisions.

■Strict Policy on Vomiting: Cleaning Responsibilities and Cost Liability

・In the event that vomiting occurs anywhere within the hostel premises, including but not limited to guest rooms, toilets, shared areas, and all other facilities, the guest is obligated to immediately report the incident to hostel staff.

・As a general rule, the cleaning of vomit shall be the responsibility of the guest involved or their accompanying party, and the hostel assumes no obligation to perform such cleaning on their behalf.
However, if deemed necessary by the hostel, staff may carry out cleaning and disinfection measures at the hostel’s discretion.

・Regardless of whether the cleaning is performed by the guest/accompanying party or by hostel staff, professional disinfection is required for hygiene and safety reasons.
Therefore, a mandatory flat fee of JPY 10,000 will be charged as a cleaning and disinfection fee in all cases.

・Furthermore, if vomiting results in contamination or damage to bedding, mattresses, carpets, floors, walls, or other facilities, and the hostel determines that restoration to the original condition cannot be achieved through standard cleaning, an additional charge of JPY 30,000 will be imposed.
This additional charge represents actual costs, including but not limited to specialized cleaning, replacement costs, and loss of business revenue.

・With respect to all charges stated above, the guest agrees not to raise any objections or disputes regarding the reason for the charges, the amounts billed, or the hostel’s determinations.

■Exclusive Operational Discretion, Limitation of Responsibility, and Exclusion of Complaints

・The hostel is operated in accordance with its Accommodation Terms and Conditions and House Rules.
Under no circumstances shall the hostel accept any complaints, objections, negotiations, refund requests, or claims for damages in relation to any actions, decisions, measures, refusals of accommodation, refusals of stay extensions, or charges taken or imposed by hostel staff pursuant to these rules, regardless of the reason.

・Guests shall be deemed to have fully understood and agreed to this provision upon staying at the hostel.

■Regarding stains/damage to linens and compensation

・If linens, bedding, towels, or other items belonging to this hostel (hereinafter referred to as “linens, etc.”) are soiled due to the intentional act or negligence of a guest, and specialized cleaning, washing, or deodorizing services by a professional contractor are required depending on the extent of the soiling, the cost of such cleaning shall vary based on the contractor’s charges, and the hostel shall bill the guest for the actual costs incurred.

・Furthermore, if such items are soiled or damaged and the hostel determines that restoration to their original condition is difficult using standard cleaning or laundering methods, or that cleaning, deodorizing, or other remedial work requires additional time or costs beyond normal procedures, the hostel shall charge the guest compensation fees for the affected linens, etc.

・In such cases, the guest shall pay the following amounts as compensation to the hostel:

Down comforter: JPY 15,000

Duvet cover: JPY 2,000

Bedsheet: JPY 1,000

Mattress pad: JPY 2,000

Down pillow: JPY 5,000

Pillowcase: JPY 500

Bath towel: JPY 1,000

Mattress: JPY 30,000

・The determination of the extent of soiling or damage, the necessity of cleaning or deodorizing, the possibility of reuse, and whether compensation is required shall be made solely at the discretion of the hostel.

・Compensation fees may be charged at the time of check-out. If necessary, the hostel may also charge such fees after check-out via the accommodation booking platform used by the guest, or through a payment method designated by the hostel.

5.Emergency Response

■In case of fire: Evacuate through the emergency exit → Contact the front desk.

■ In case of medical emergency: Call 119 → Contact the front desk.

■ In case of an earthquake: Follow facility announcements and staff instructions.

[ 6. Termination of contract, refusal of accommodation, forced eviction ]

■ We can terminate contracts, refuse accommodation, or issue evictions for the following reasons: (In accordance with Article 5 of the Hotel Business Act Enforcement Order and Articles 6-7 of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Enforcement Ordinance)

If more people than the reservation number are used

Not following evacuation orders

■ Article 8 (Cancellation of Accommodation Contract)

If any of the following occurs, the hotel will terminate the contract and order the guest to leave immediately: ・Violence, destruction of property, nuisance behavior ・Violation of laws and public order and morals ・Unreasonable purpose for staying ・Belonging to anti-social forces ・Refusal to pay fees without a valid reason ・Actions that significantly impair the order and safety of the facility.

■ Article 9 (Provisions regarding customer harassment and use of social media)

In order to maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees, our facility strictly prohibits the following acts of customer harassment. If any of the following acts are confirmed, we may, at our discretion, terminate your accommodation contract and refuse future use. We may also report the matter to the police or relevant authorities and take legal action if necessary.

- Abusive, threatening or intimidating language

- Prolonged detention and persistent complaints and demands

- Denying the dignity of employees, discriminatory or insulting remarks

- Forcing apologies or responses or making demands that go beyond social norms

- Harassment of other customers or employees

- Any other behavior that the facility deems inappropriate according to social standards

Additionally, our facility will also consider the following actions on social networking services (SNS) to be serious harassment or damage to reputation, and will deal with them in the same strict manner.

- Posting false facts or spreading defamatory content

- Posts that identify or slander the facility or individual employees

- Unauthorized recording, filming, photography, etc. and unauthorized publication

- Posts that infringe on the privacy of other users

- Posting or spreading false reviews or ratings

If any of the above acts cause damage to our facility or harm to our employees, we will pursue legal responsibility, both civil and criminal, against the customer.

[ 7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction ]

■ Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and the court with jurisdiction over the location of the Facility shall be the exclusive court of first instance.

 

This facility operates in cooperation with the Chiyoda Ward government, police, fire department, and the local community. In the unlikely event of any trouble, staff will immediately report it to the appropriate authorities, so please cooperate. We also ask that everyone at this facility be considerate and considerate of each other so that all guests can have a comfortable stay.
