We have recently received reports of suspicious emails and messages being sent to guests impersonating HOSTEL EstLiLas KANDA.

 

Our hostel will never contact guests using any of the following methods.

 

・Contacting guests via external messaging apps such as WhatsApp

・Messages requesting you to enter personal information, credit card details, or other sensitive information through external websites or apps

・Messages regarding dates that differ from your reservation

・Messages asking you to click suspicious links or complete procedures on external websites

 

We will only contact guests through the following official channels：

・Messages sent through the booking platform used to make your reservation

・Emails sent from our hostel’s official email address

 

We will never ask guests to take any action or complete any procedures through WhatsApp or other external apps.

If you receive a suspicious email or message, please do not click on any links or provide personal information, credit card details, or other sensitive information. Please exercise caution.

The messages included statements such as “regarding dates that you did not book” and “we attempted to contact you via WhatsApp from the hostel.”

 

Please be advised that these messages were not sent by our hostel.
